Located at 165 Wellborn Street in Blairsville, the Pat Haralson Memorial Civic Center has an auditorium, kitchen and conference room that are available to rent.  It is a great venue for hosting a wide variety of events.

Civic Center Rental Procedures

Reservation Fees
Auditorium/Kitchen rental: $25.00 reservation fee non-refundable
Conference Room rental: $10.00 reservation fee non-refundable

Hourly Rental Rates
Auditorium/Kitchen rental:  $25.00 hourly fee
Conference Room rental:    $10.00 hourly fee

Daily Rental Rates
1-Day rate: Reservation fee plus $150.00
2-Day rate: Reservation fee plus $250.00
3-Day rate: Reservation fee plus $350.00

 

Reservation fee and/or hourly rates are due within 10 business days of reservation. No refund of hourly rates will be given unless this office is notified of event cancellation 48 hours prior to the scheduled day and time.  Reservation fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS!

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

A Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 5:00pm in the Union County Courthouse, 65 Courthouse Street, Blairsville, Georgia. MEETING AGENDA.

The purpose of this hearing will be for Union County to provide information and answer questions regarding the proposed revisions to the following Union County Code of Ordinances:

1. Chapter 60, Short-term Rentals
2. Chapter 10, Article III, Alcoholic Beverages
3. Chapter 18, Article IV, Div.2, Section 18-105

Copies of the proposed revisions are available on the Union County website at www.unioncountyga.gov, in the Union County Commissioner’s Office, and the Union County Clerk of Court’s Office.
