FULL-TIME UNION COUNTY PARKS & RECREATION – Front Office Admin

The Union County Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for a full-time Front Office Admin position.  Responsibilities include greeting the public at the Sports Center, answering phones, reserving Rec Dept facilities for the public, directing the public on sports activities, marketing special events, working on special Rec Dept projects, and attending to other duties associated with front-office functions.  Workdays are Mon-Fri with occasional weekends depending upon special events.  Please fill out an application at The Union County Sports Center, located at 519 Industrial Blvd.

FULL-TIME UNION COUNTY PARKS & RECREATION – Athletics Coordinator

The Union County Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for a full-time Athletics Coordinator position.  Under limited supervision, performs supervisory and recreational work planning, and organizing, a variety of indoor/outdoor athletic events and team sports. Work involves coordinating and monitoring athletic programs. Position is responsible for all staffing and managing of athletic events and programs under charge. PART-TIME UNION COUNTY PARKS & RECREATION – Meeks Park

The Union County Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for part time positions at Meeks Park. Responsibilities include mowing, weed-eating, janitorial, trash pick-up, trail maintenance, and ball field maintenance. Workdays are Mon-Fri and some weekends. UNION COUNTY FINANCE DIRECTOR

Union County is accepting applications for the full-time position Finance Director.

This position directs the county’s finance operations, including serving as the chief finance officer for the county.

Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a bachelor’s degree in a course of study to the occupational field. Requires three to five years of similar experience – with experience in public sector, CPA and/or Certified Government Finance Official strongly preferred.

Union County offers comparable salary and benefits package.  Successful candidate must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
