The Union County Coroner is an elected official serving all the residents of Union County. The Coroner office responds and investigates deaths at the request of local law enforcement officials. The office also issues death certificates and maintains all county records as required by state law.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A Public Hearing will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 5:00pm in the Union County Courthouse, 65 Courthouse Street, Blairsville, Georgia. MEETING AGENDA.
The purpose of this hearing will be for Union County to provide information and answer questions regarding the proposed revisions to the following Union County Code of Ordinances:
1. Chapter 60, Short-term Rentals
2. Chapter 10, Article III, Alcoholic Beverages
3. Chapter 18, Article IV, Div.2, Section 18-105
Copies of the proposed revisions are available on the Union County website at www.unioncountyga.gov, in the Union County Commissioner’s Office, and the Union County Clerk of Court’s Office.
