UC Rec Youth Athletic Programs

Athletics and sports are a top priority at the Union County Recreation Department. Organized baseball, softball, basketball, football, cheerleading, girl’s flag football, golf, wrestling, volleyball, and soccer are each offered to the public on a regular basis.
Registration is now open for
Baseball and softball for ages 13-14 boys is $70 (due to only 1 county in our surrounding area with a team) 9-12 is $80. Coaches Pitch age 7/8 is $65. T-ball age 5/6 is $65. Age you are on 9/1/2025 is the age group you play in. Registration will end on Feb 3rd. Lil Ballers age 3-4 is $55. You must be age 3 or 4 on Jan 1, 2025 to participate in Lil Ballers. Registration will end on March 3rd.
Volleyball for girls current grade 3rd-8th. Fee is $80. Registration ends 2/3. 2/8 is a coach clinic at The Union County Sports Center from 8am-11am. No volleyball coach experience, not a problem. Coach George Miller can teach you everything you need to know. 2/11 3rd grade and 4th grade girls clinic 5:30pm-6:30pm. 5th and 6th grade girls clinic 6:30pm-7:30pm. 2/13 7th and 8th grade girls clinic 5:30pm-7:30pm. If you need to try on a uniform, you may do so at the volleyball clinics. week of 2/24, practices will start. Note, The Daddy Daughter Dance is 3/8. The Union County Sports Center will be closed 3/5-3/8 to prepare and have the dance. There will not be practice during this time.
Spring Wrestling for current ages 5-12. Fee is $65. Registration ends on 2/21. Practice and games will be on Tuesday and Thursdays.
