The Union County Substance Abuse Grant Committee is hereby requesting proposals to address the problem of alcohol and drug abuse in Union County.  The funds for this grant are made possible by license fees and tax receipts from alcohol sales in Union County.  Applications will be available starting on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, and will remain available through Friday, July 19, 2024.  Questions regarding applications may be directed to Jennifer Mahan at 706-439-6000 or ucexec@uniongov.com.

Applications will be available in the Union County Commissioner’s Office located at 65 Courthouse Street, Suite 1, Blairsville, GA 30512 or can be downloaded HERE.

Applications are due by Friday, July 26, 2024, at 4:30 pm.

NOTE: Mowing season has started for the Union County Road Department. Signs placed in the right-of-way will be removed and taken to the Road Department where they can be picked up. This is standard procedure during this time of year.
